Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Proatmeal

Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight "Proatmeal"

Sick of the same old breakfast? Here is a different way to enjoy your morning oatmeal. Some of you may have heard these referred to as "overnight oats". There are tons of different ways to make them; chia seeds, coconut milk, berries etc. I'm adding chocolate protein powder (protein + oatmeal = proatmeal...get it?)  and peanut butter because chocolate and peanut butter is absolutely delicious and probably my favorite thing in the world. Super easy to make, little clean up, 28 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber.  This stuff will keep you feeling full and energized for hours.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup uncooked quick oats (I used gluten free, personal preference)
• 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
• 1 T peanut butter
• 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder
• 2 T powdered peanut butter, like PB2 or PB lean

Directions:
  1. Mix the oats, almond milk and peanut butter in a bowl and refrigerate overnight.
  2. In the morning, stir in the protein powder and PB2. (If it seems too dry add a splash of almond milk to loosen it up).
  3. Feel free to mix in nuts, flax seed or more peanut butter.
